In 2002 imm cologne and the German Design Council sought to initiate an independent, sector-oriented award. The result: the Interior Innovation Award. Today it is considered one of the most renowned design awards in the interior furnishing industry worldwide.
The imm cologne trade fair is the ideal sponsor of the competition, whose organization is the responsibility of the German Design Council. The Interior Innovation Award stands for first-class innovative achievements in all the sector’s product areas and awards Selection, Winner and Best of Best.

SOFTLINE design has made a breakthrough on the US market, and we are pleased to announce that three SOFTLINE products have received the prestigious 2014 Good Design Award. The award was given for the SOFTLINE models HAVANA Wing chair, the EDEN Lounge chair and the OPERA sofa and chair. All three products were designed by busk+hertzog. The Good Design Award was established in Chicago in 1950, and is one of the world’s oldest and most renowned awards for design excellence.
It has been given to such design legends as Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen and Harry Bertoia.

We are pleased to announce that the ANGEL Chair, designed by busk+hertzog, has been awarded the 2011 Good Design Award.
The award was established in Chicago in 1950, and is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious awards for design excellence. It has been given to design legends such as Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen and Harry Bertoia.
